Tourism & walks

Ideally located in the heart of the Alpilles Regional Natural Park, discover a region rich in scrublands, typical villages and their colourful Provencal markets, between olive groves, oil mills and vineyards.

You will be able to stroll in the old streets of the heart of Saint Rémy de Provence and visit its archaeological site or walk in the footsteps of Van Gogh.

You can also visit Tarascon and its royal castle of Provence as well as the Souleiado museum to learn all about the manufacture of Indian women.

Unless you prefer to discover the villages of Provence such as Fontvieille and its mill of Alfonse Daudet, the archaeological site of the mill and aqueducts of Barbegal. Or the prestigious village of Les Baux de Provence which dominates from the top of its famous rocky spur, the thousand-year-old landscapes planted with olive trees and vines. Or else, the villages of Maussane les Alpilles, Mouriès or Eyguières and their Provencal markets where you can taste local culinary specialities.

Of course, for a history lesson, you will visit Arles for its ancient theatre and amphitheatre but also the cloister Saint Trophime and the Abbey of Montmajour or its museums.

Not forgetting the innumerable farandoles and other Camargue races organised all over the surrounding villages from April to October.

But you can also go on hiking trails in the Regional Natural Park of the Alpilles which covers more than 50 000 ha and discover new places and unmissable sites of the massif.

The location of the hotel will allow you to enjoy the excitement of the Festival d'Avignon, 20 minutes away, and then return to peace and quiet.

You can also discover the nearby Camargue or enjoy a swim in the Mediterranean Sea in under an hour at the Grau du Roi or Marseille on the blue coast.
